As part of Cyber Scotland Week, STEM Futures @ Glasgow Science Centre in partnership with IBM have come up with an engaging online workshop to encourage more young people to highlight the range of career opportunities within the technology sector.
The workshop will be delivered in the form of a game, where the pupils will need to stop a cyber-attack on an airport. There will also be information about careers within the industry with some real-life examples from IBM staff.
Important information
- This event is for S3 and S4 pupils only.
- Teachers should register on behalf of the class, individual pupils do not need to register.
- This event will be streamed as a Teams Live webinar. Pupils can access teams via Glow or attend as guests.
- The webinar will load in any browser or via the Teams app.
- To take part in the workshop activity, pupils will need access to a tablet, laptop or PC, running Chrome. Pupils will be unable to access using mobile phones.
